Lace Cardigan, Ribbed Sheath Knitting Pattern

Evening Duet : This pattern contains instructions to knit the two garments pictured. First their is the sheath, which is ribbed, fitted and strapless. This is paired up with a short cardigan with three quarter length sleeves and seven button front panel. Both pieces are delightfully lacy. Pair them up or wear them separately. The pattern is misses size 14, with changes for 16 and 18 in parentheses. The pattern is vintage 1950.

Materials - Sheath:

• Nomotta Festive 4 (5-6) 1-oz skeins;
• Knitting Needles Nos. 1, 2 and 5 (standard).

Gauge: 8 sts = 1" (Rib Pat) ; 6 sts=1"; 7 rows=1" (Band Pat).

Materials - Cardigan:

• Nomotta Festive 5 (6-7) 1-oz. skeins;
• Knitting Needles Nos. 1 and 5 (standard) ;
• 7 Buttons.

Gauge: 6 sts = 1"; 7 rows = 1".
