Lacy Bedjacket Knitting Pattern No 2468

Knitted Bewitching Bed Jacket:     This pattern gives directions to knit the feminine bed jacket pictured.  The design, in 3-ply fingering or saxony yarn, features a lacy yoke, ribbon beaded and tiny pearl button closure.  The pattern is written for size small (12-14) with changes for medium and large in parenthesis. 

This is a Mail Order pattern purchased through newspaper advertisements and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed as Peggy Roberts R2468 in 1957. 

Materials:  Four 2-ounce skeins of 3 play fingering wool, or 3 ply Saxony... or Five 2-ounce skeins for Medium and Large Sizes. Small amount of six-strand embroidery floss in rose and green.
