Crochet Lacy Spiderweb Stole:   This pattern gives direction to crochet the lovely stole pictured.  The design, worked in 3-ply nylon yarn features an intricate spiderweb design.    "This little scarf in crochet is quickly made and takes little yarn, as compared with other stoles of its size, but the pattern is intricate -- not for beginners" 

This is a Mail Order pattern purchased through newspaper advertisements and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed as Martha Madison 1137 in 1960.  It was previously marketed under the Needlework Bureau brand. 

Material: About 6 ounces of 3-ply Nylon Yarn, or 8 ounces of 3-ply Wool Baby Yarn. Use a #3 steel crochet nook, or one of similar size. Work evenly and firmly.
