Lacy Swirl Doily Crochet Pattern No 15

Lacy Swirl Doily:   This pattern gives directions to create the doily pictured.  The finished doily will  measure 14 inches ... or create additional medallions to create a cloth in sizes of your choice. 

This is a Mail Order order pattern, purchased through newspapers and catalogs.  This pattern was marketed as Martha Madison 15.   The newspaper description:  This unusual doily is formed of only seven easily crocheted four-inch medallions (six of them joined around the center one); then two rounds are crocheted around the whole, to simulate a buttonholed scalloped edging. The result is fantastic!

Materials:  About 400 yards #30 Crochet Cotton; use #10 steel crochet
