Large Collar Knitting Pattern, Mail Order Design 330

Knitted Collar : This pattern contains directions to knit, crochet edge, the collar pictured. A lovely piece that drapes over the shoulders in a rounded manner with changing pattern stitch. The pattern is vintage 1936 and is written in the older fashion with all Caps, but still quite workable.   Sizes include 18, 21 and 24 inches.

This is a Mail Order Pattern, purchased through newspapers. The pattern was marketed under the name of Ruth Orr 330 by Needlework Bureau 1936.   "It may look difficult but it's really made up of the old standbys - knitting and purling with the open parts done simply by knitting two stitches together and looping the yarn over the needle".

Materials:  1 ball knitting & crochet cotton;   1 pr. knitting needles No.1 standard size;   Steel crochet hook No.4.
