Description

Large Doll No P.C. 4517 : This pattern contains directions to crochet the doll shown. This sweet little girl doll is vintage 1940s, from The National Needlecraft Bureau. During this period of round economic times (WWII), they issued a number of craft parents to assist parents in making toys for their children. The doll has crocheted-on cloths, which is a sleeper and little matching hat in. Hair is put in with whisps of yarn, blue button eyes and little bow ties. The actual size of dolly is not stated, however, with the title of 'large', and her position in the childs' chair would indicate in the 20 inch range.
