Description

No 5112 Two Tone Modern Rug :  This pattern contains directions to make the crochet rug pictured.   The rug is on the large side, perfect as an area rug, at 44 x 60 inches.   The rug features bands of loop stitch that run across and forms a wide border all the way around.  Make this rug in the two tones as instructed or branch out with multiple colors or the ever elegant tone on tone approach.  A chart is included for the loop stitching.  Instructions for material changes to make this same rug in a smaller version are also included.   This design is vintage 1951 from American Thread.  

Materials:

  • AMERICANTHREAD COMPANY "STAR" RUG YARN, ARTICLE 44 12-80 yd. SkeinsCream.
  • 34-80yd. Skeins Beige or Any Colors desired. 
  • Steel Crochet Hook No.00.
