Description

Filet Crochet Chair Set:  This filet crochet chair set, made of Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton, may also be used as a buffet set or the large piece may be used as ends for scarfs. The pattern includes a filet chart for the chair back and the arm rest, also instructions describing how the charts are to be followed.  The arms rests will measure 6 x 13 inches; the chair back is 13 x 16 inches.  

This is a Mail Order Design pattern purchased through newspapers and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed as Laura Wheeler 1936 in 1939.  

MATERIAL REQUIREMENTS:  Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton in (500 yard) skeins;   No. 7 steel crochet hook. 2 skeins of cotton will make a chair set or 2 scarf ends.
