Laura Wheeler 2327 Kitten Filet Crochet Chair Set

Filet Crocheted Chair Set:  This filet crocheted chair set is made of Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton. The chair set may also be used as a buffet set or the large piece may be used as ends for scarfs. The pattern is eludes charts for the chair back and arm rest.  When completed the chair back will measure 12 x 19 and the arm rests are 6-1/2 x 7 inches each. 

This is a Mail Order Designs pattern purchased through newspapers and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed as Laura Wheeler 2327 in 1939.  The newspaper description:  "Add this kitten to your family of pets. He's easy to acquire as all you need is string and a crochet hook. Make a chair or buffet set or scarf ends".
