Laura Wheeler 590 Crochet Lace Medallion Pattern

Crocheted Medallion:  This crocheted medallion can either be made of Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton or of No. 30' Mercerized Crochet Cotton. When joined together the medallions form bedspreads, cloths, scarfs, pillows and other household articles.  The medallions may be crocheted at 5-1/2 or 8 inches diagonally. 

This is a Mail Order Design pattern purchased through newspapers and catalogs.  This pattern was marketed as Laura Wheeler 590 in 1947.   

MATERIAL REQUIREMENTS:  Unbleached Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton in 4700 yard) skeins and a No. 8 steel crochet hook;   or No. 30 Mercerized Crochet Cotton and a No. 10 steel crochet hook.   Each medallion requires approximately 36 yards of heavy cotton or 25 yards of fine cotton.
