Laura Wheeler 692, Three Crocheted Doilies

Crocheted Doilies:  This pattern contains directions for three little doilies all different in design. They can be made in either fine or heavy cotton.  The pinwheel doilies are 7-1/2, 9 or 12 inches; the flower doilies are 8, 9-1/2 or 13 inches in diameter.  The oval doilies are 7 x 11, 8-1/2 x 13 or 11 x 17 inches. 

This is a Mail Order Design pattern purchased through newspapers and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed as Laura Wheeler 692.  The newspaper description:  "Takes three days to make these three doilies! That's how easy they are! Make them now, they will come in handy and Christmas-time. Everyone loves to get these useful little doilies"  The pattern was included in the 1953 Laura Wheeler Designs Needlecraft Catalog.
