Description

Leaf Design Cardigan : This pattern, vintage 1960s, contains instructions to knit, crocheted edges, the above pictured cardigan. The long sleeved cardigan has a high round neckline and long sleeves, as well as an eye-catching leaf motif design. The pattern is sized small (32/34) medium (36/38) and large (40/42). The instructions are written for small, with changes from medium and large in parentheses.

Materials:

  • Spinnerin Nylaine Fingering Yarn (1 oz skeins): 9 (9-10) skeins
  • Knitting needles: 1 pair each of No 1 and No 3 or size required to knit to gauge
  • Steel crochet hook No 3
  • 8 small button moulds

Gauge: 10 sts = 1 inch; 11 rows = 1 inch.
