Description

Hip Belted Pullover: Here's an attractive, eye catching sweater, perfect for winter wear. The Cables and ribs accentuate long lines of a rolled collar sweater. Hip riding belt slips through front and back slots. Pair it up with a pair of jeans for a ready-to-go look. The pattern is sized 12 to 18. Instructions are written for a size 12. Changes for 14, 16 and 18 are shown in parentheses.

MATERIALS.  Spinnerin Alpine, 8 (9-10-11-12) 50-gram balls main color (MC) ; 2 (2-3-3-4) balls contrasting color (CC); or Spinnerin Clu or Peruvia, 7 (8-9-10-11) 2-oz. balls main color (MC); 2 (2-2-3-3) balls contrasting color (CC);   14" knitting needles No. 10;   Set of dp needles No. 10. (Or English size 3.);   Four stitch holders.

GAUGE: 4 sts = 1"; 11 rows =2".
