Loop Stitch Round Crochet Collar Pattern

Date Go'er:  This pattern contains directions to crochet the collar pictured.    This design is vintage 1940s from Spool Cotton Company.   A little different for the time period, instead of layers of frilly lace, we have a layers of loop stitch, resulting in a fluffy layers.   It closes in the back with a button and hook.  

Materials: 

• - CLARK'SO.N.T. or J. & P. COATS BEST SIX CORD MERCERIZED CROCHET,size 30:
• - SMALL BALL: CLARK'SO.N.T.-5 balls of White or Ecru, or 8 balls of variegated or solid color, OR
• - J.& P. COATS-4 balls of White or Ecru, or 5 balls of variegated or solid color.
• - Milward's Steel Crochet Hook No,11.
