Description

Style No 852-76 : This pattern contains directions to knit the sweater shown. Such a lovely design, elegant and eye pleasing. It is a knitted pullover with stockinette bodice, slightly extended shoulders that fall into ribbed long sleeves and deep ribbed bottom. A small ribbed fold-over collar gives it a 'just right' finishing touch. This pattern, vintage 1950s from Bernat, is misses size 12, 14, 16 and 18.

Materials:

  • BERNAT Willowspun (2 oz. pull skeins) — 6(6-7-7)
  • 1 pair each straight knitting needles Nos. 3 and 5
  • 1 set d p needles No. 3

GAUGE: 11 sts = 2 inches7 rows = 1 inch in stockinette st on No. 5 needles 15 sts = 2 inches7 rows = 1 inch in ribbing on No. 5 needles
