Mans Block Stitch Pullover Vest Socks Knitting Pattern, Size 38 to 44

Block Stitch Pullover & Socks : This pattern contains instructions to knit the vest shown, as well as a pair of socks. The pullover is sleeveless, with a v-neckline, hip length with ribbing and an quite attractive all-over block stitch. The knit pullover is sized for men 38, 40, 42 and 44. The knitted dress socks, in the same block stitch pattern will fit men foot size 9 1/2 to 12 1/2.  

Materials - Pullover :   COATS & CLARK'S "Red Heart" Super Fingering, 3 Ply (l-oz, "Tangle-Proof" Pull-Out Skeins), 7 (8- 9-10) skeins of Meadow Green;   Knitting needles, 1 pro each No.1 and No.3.   (GAUGE: 8 sts = 1"; 10 rows = 1".)

Materials - Socks:   COATS & CLARK'S "Red Heart" Super Fingering, 3 Ply (1 oz. "Tangle-Proof" Pull-Out Skeins): 3 skeins of No. 430 Meadow Green;   Knitting needles: 1 set each of double-pointed sock needles No. 1 and No.3.   (GAUGE: 8 sts = 1"; 10 rnds = 1")
