Description

Mans Slipover : This pattern gives directions for knitting the cable slipover pictured.  A vintage design, just below waist length, long sleeves, wide ribbed bands and all over cables.  The pattern is written for mans size 38, with changes for 40 and 42 in parentheses.

Materials:   Columbia Knitting Worsted, 4 (5-5) 4-oz. skeins;   "Boye" 14" knitting needles Nos. 4 and 6 (standard). English sizes, 9 and 7;   "Boye" 7" dp needle No. 6 for cable.

Gauge: 5 sts =1" (cable pat, No. 6 needles).
