No 12414 : This pattern gives directions for knitting the vest pictured. This mans design, vintage 1942, is a sleeveless sweater, or a pullover vest ... your choice. The vest has three wide vertical cable bands, a v-neckline and contrast bands along all edges. It is below waist in length. The pattern is written for a mans size 38, with changes for 40, 42 and 44 in parentheses.

MATERIALS:

  • SPINNERIN WHIRL-KNIT (2-oz. Skeins) Moth-Proofed, 8 (9-9-9) Skeins Main Color & Small Amount Contrasting Color
  • 1 pr. each Knitting Needles No. 6 and No. 10
  • 1 Double-Pointed Needle for cable

GAUGE: 4 sts-1"; 11 rows-2"
