Description

Diamond Design Slipon : This pattern gives instructions to knit the pullover pictured. The official magazine description: Charcoal slipover subtly patterned in green and beige. This design, vintage 1962, is written for mens small (36-38), medium (40-42) and large (44-46). The slipon features long sleeves with medium collar over v-neckline and hip length. A diamond motif, worked to included full page chart, runs horizontally in three striped bands, front and back and matching up to sleeves. This is an intermediate to advanced pattern.

Materials:

  • Bernat Super Knitting Worsted, 5 (6-6) 2-oz. skeins dark gray, main color (MC); 4 (5-5) skeins each of green and beige.
  • 14" knitting needles Nos. 4 and 6. (Or English sizes 9 and 7.)
  • Two stitch holders.
  • Two buttons.

GAUGE: 11 sts = 2"; 6 rows = 1" (pat, No. 6 needles).
