Mans Crocheted Cardigan:    This pattern gives directions to crochet the cardigan jacket pictured.   This is an easy beginners pattern crocheted in a combination of virgin wool and knitting worsted.  The cardigan features patch pockets, contrast trim and elbow patches.  It is written for mans size 36, with changes for 38, 40, 42, and 44 in parenthesis.  

This is a Mail Order pattern purchased through newspaper advertisements and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed as Anne Cabot No 5165. 

Materials:  BERNAT PEBBLESPUN (100% Virgin Wool-1 oz. skeins); 28 (29,29,30,30) Skeins in Color desired;   BERNAT SUPER KNITTING WORSTED; 1 2-oz. skein in CC (contrasting color);  NEEDLE: Aluminum Crochet Hook;   ACCESSORIES; 1 pair of Elbow Patches 4 Buttons.
