Mans Knitted Fairisle Sweater Sock No 2370

Mans Fairisle Sweater and Socks:   This pattern gives directions to knit a sweater and socks set for men.   The sweater, worked to a FairIsle Chart in Sock and Sweater Yarn is sized 18 to 42.  Directions are written for size 18, with changes for 40 and 42 in parenthesis.  The matching socks are sized for feet 9 to 12.  Charts are included for both the sweater and socks.  

This is a Mail Order pattern purchased through newspaper advertisements and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed as Anne Cabot 2370.  

Materials:  CHADWICK'S RED HEART SOCK & SWEATER YARN, 3 Ply, Art. E. 255: 5 skeins (1 oz. "Tangle-Proof" Pull-Out Skeins) of No. 420 Natural for Size 16;  6 skeins for Size 18;  7 skeins for Size 40; 8 skeins for Size 42; 2 skeins of No. 430 Meadow Green and 1 skein of No. 360 Wood Brown for all Sizes.   CLARK'S O.N.T. Plastic Knitting Pins, 1 pair No. 2 (2 3/4 mm. size) and 1 pair No. 1 (2 1/2 mm. Size).   CLARK'S O.N.T. Plastic Double-Pointed Sock Needles, 1 set No. 1 (2 1/2 mm. size).
