Mans Knitted Loose Fitting Sweater Pattern

No 734-22 Mans Sweater :  This pattern contains directions to knit the sweaters pictured.   The sweater is loose fitting with extended armholes, and contrast banding down the front sides as well as the contrast ribbing and a notched collar.  The collar can be worn in the out position, or tucked in for a collarless look.  The pattern, vintage 1960s from Columbia Minerva, is size Small (36-38), medium (40-42) and large (46-48).

• COLUMBIA-MINERVASport and Sweater Yarn- Matched Dye Lot (1 oz. skein) Main Color (MC)-11 (13-15) skeins and 4 skeins Contrasting Color (CC) OR
• COLUMBIA-MINERVAReal Shetland (1 oz. skein) Main Color (MC)-8 (10-11) skeins and 3skeins Contrasting Color (CC)
• 1 pair each Boye straight knitting needles Nos. 2 and 5 
• 1 set Boyd needles No.2

GAUGE:  6 sts = 1 inch : 8 rows = 1 inch
