Description

Ski Shirt and Cap : This pattern contains directions to knit the sweater and cap pictured. Definitely a pattern for the more advanced knitter, but definitely one worth giving a knit. The sweater is multi patterned and knit with included full page charts. It features a slit v-neckline with a convertible collar and solid color banding at the neck and ribbed cuffs. This knitting pattern, vintage 1962, is sized for men Small (34-36), Medium (38-40) and Large (42-44).

Materials:

  • BEAR BRAND Four Seasons Yarn (2-oz. Skeins), 9 (9-10) skeins of Color A, 4 skeins Color B, 1 skein each Colors C, D and E for shirt: 2 skeins. Color B for cap.
  • Knitting needles, 1 pro Each No.9 and No. 10 ½ OR SIZE YOU REQUIRE TO KNIT TO GAUGE

Gauge: On No. 10 ½needles, 7 sts = 2"; 19 rows = 4". (On border Pattern, 9 rows = 2").
