Mens Ribbed Cardigan Sweater Knitting Pattern

Mens Rib Cardigan :This pattern contains instructions to knit the warm and chunky mens cardigan pictured above. Raglan sleeves are set in and ribbed banding added. The patterns is sized 38 to 44. Instructions are written for size 38, with changes for 40, 42 and 44 shown in parentheses. The pattern is vintage early 1960s.

MATERIALS:  Bear Brand or Fleisher's Nubby-Fleece, 19 (20) 2-oz. skeins;   Plastic knitting needles Nos. 11 and 13. (Or English sizes- 2 and 0.);   Seven 1" leather buttons;   One stitch holder.;   Small amount of matching lightweight yarn for sewing seams;   Tapestry needle.

GAUGE: 10 sts = 4"; 22 rows = 4"
