Description

Mans Cable Stitch Pullover : This pattern contains instructions to knit the pullover pictured. This design, vintage 1948 from Hiawatha, is knit in Fingering Wool. The mens pattern is a sleeveless pullover or vest. It is worked in an easy and attractive cable stitch with high neckline and ribbed bottom band. The pattern is written from mans chest size 38, with changes for 40 and 42 in parentheses.

MATERIALS:

  • Hiawatha British 3-Ply Super-Fingering Wool Art. 30, (1-oz. skein). 8 (8,9) skeins.
  • Hiawatha Elastic Knitting Yarn of Lastex Art. 76, 1 spool.
  • Needles: 1 pr. each No. 1 and No. 4.
  • 1 dp needle for cables.

GAUGE: 8 sts = 1"
