Misses Cardigan Sweater Knitting Pattern Popcorn Stitch

Popcorn & Embroidery Sweater :  This pattern contains directions to knit the sweater shown.   This is quite an attractive cardigan, high neckline, banding at all openings, 8 covered button front closure and a diamond harlequin design in popcorn stitch, across the front and down the sleeve.  And, then, should you desire, you can dress it up further by adding an embroidered floral motif (chart attached) inside each of the diamonds.   This pattern is sized for misses Small, Medium and Large. 

Materials Required: 

• AMERICAN THREAD COMPANY "DAWN"SWEATER 6- SOCK YARN 9 (10, 11 ) ounces White 1 ounce each Canary, Baby Blue and 
• Jockey Green or colors of your choice
• 1 Pro Knitting needles No.4 and No.6  
• Steel crochet hook No.6.]
•  9  ¾ inch buttons 

GAUGE for No. 6 needles:6 stitches (sts) = 1 inch; 7 rows = 1 inch
