Misses Hooded Jacket Knitting Pattern

Hooded Jacket: This pattern gives directions to knit, crochet edge, the jacket pictured. The design is knit with mock cable banding, which extends for the pockets.Mock cable banding extends for pockets, is used as trim on bulky jacket. The hood has the matching banding. The vintage jacket pattern is long sleeved and hip length.

SIZES: Directions for sizes 10-12. Changes for sizes 14-16 and 18-20 are in parentheses.

• Body Bust: 31"-32" (34"-36"; 38"- 40" ).
• Blocked Bust (closed) : 37" (41"- 45" ).

MATERIALS:

• Bernat Shakerspun, 15 (17-19) 2-oz. skeins.
• Knitting needles. No. 11. (Or English size 2.)
• Aluminum crochet hook size G.
• Two stitch holders.
• Seven brass buttons.
• Two yards 2 ½" matching grosgrain ribbon.
• Matching sewing thread.
• Large-eyed sewing needle.
• One snap fastener.

GAUGE: 3 sts = 1"; 4 rows = 1" (stockinette st). 7 sts = 2"; 9 rows = 2" (pat st).
