Misses Knit Two Piece Suit Pattern

Two Piece Suit : This pattern contains directions for knitting the outfit shown. This comfortable design is one that you'll enjoy wearing for years; a timeless classic that just isn't going to go out of style. The two piece outfits consists of a jacket and a skirt. The loose fitting jacket, in tweed type pattern effect, is hip length, with long sleeves, front buttoned band and contrast cuffs, collar and buttons. The skirt is a pull on with elastic waist casing. This design from Bernat is written for misses size 10, with changes for 12, 14, 16 and 18 in parentheses. This is an intermediate to advanced pattern.

Materials:

• BERNAT Jaeger Shire Spun (40 gram balls), 12(12-13-13-14) Main Color (M C) for jacket and 9 ( 10-10-11-12 ) Main Color ( M C) for skirt
• BERNAT SESAME (Super Knitting Worsted) (2 oz. pull pouches), 2 Contrasting Color (C C)
• 1 pair each BERNAT-Aero straight knitting needles Nos. 5 and 8 (Canadian Needles Nos. 9 and 6) OR ANY SIZE NEEDLES WHICH WILL GIVE THE STITCH GAUGE GIVEN BELOW
• 6 5/8 inch rings for buttons
• 1 yd 1 inch elastic

GAUGE: 5 sts 1 inch7 rows= 1 inch
