Description

Square Cabled Shirt : This pattern gives directions to knit the top pictured. The top, vintage 1952 from Bernat is knit in Argyle Fingering Yarn. It is a square design, sleeveless with extended shoulders and a boat styled neckline. Across the front is a 'X' motif worked in cable stitch. The pattern is sized for misses 14, 16 and 18.

MATERIALS:

  • Bernat Argyle Fingering (1 oz. Ball), 7 (8, 8) balls.
  • Set of 6 No. 3 dp needles.
  • 1 pr. No. 1 knitting needles.

GAUGE: 8 sts= 1"; 12 rows =1".

Bust Measurements Blocked: 33 (35, 37)".
