Description

Beret: This pattern gives directions to crochet the hat shown. This vintage (early 1960s) pattern has instructions to crochet the hat pictured above. Dramatic or sportive, drape a crocheted beret as you wish -- is is a most obliging hat. This one is worn wrong side out for extra fluff! For extra fun, add a tassel, or other decorative item, to hang off the side. This pattern is sized for the medium size head.

MATERIALS:  Bernat Mohairspun, 5 1-oz, skeins;   Aluminum or plastic crochet hook size 9 or J;   Ornament (optional).

GAUGE: 5 sc = 2"; 5 rnds = 2". (Note: Beret is worked with double strand.)
