Description

Style 1778-118 :  This pattern gives directions to knit, crochet detail, the coat pictured.  What design this is.  Knit in mohair, the coat features a blocked checkerboard styled all-over motif that is thigh length.  There's a half collar, double breasted closure, long sleeves, and that ever-so-fun fringe ends.   The matching tall stove pipe styled hat has a matching color band at the brim.   The pattern is written for misses sizes small (10-12), medium (14-16) and large (18-20).  Full page charts are included.

  • BERNAT MOHAIRSPUN (1 oz. pull skeins) — 24 (25- 26) Black (MC) ; 24 (25-26) Gray (Color A) for coat — 5 Black (MC) ; 1 Gray (Color A) for hat  
  • 1 pair straight knitting needles No. 11  
  • 1 aluminum crochet hook size G
  • 8 buttons
  • 1/2 yd taffeta
  • 1/2 yd pellon
