Nine Crocheted Edgings Pattern, Alice Brooks 7285

Crocheted Edgings:  These crocheted edgings, made of fine Mercerized Crochet Cotton or of Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton, can be used as edgings on collar and cuff gets, scarfs, towels, sheets and pillow cases, doilies, infants wear and lingerie or as shelf-edging.   The edgings range between 1/2 and 2 inches wide.  

This is a Mail Order Design pattern purchased through newspapers and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed as Alice Brooks 7285.  The newspaper description:  "Edgings - the prettiest ever! Varied, narrow enough for handkerchiefs done in fine cotton and all easy to crochet.Trim linens, lingerie, kiddies clothes".
