Description

Ingenue Sweater : This pattern contains instructions to knit, crochet detail, the sweater shown. The pattern designer named this piece Ingenue - meaning "innocent or unsophisticated young woman". Now, I can speak of the young woman here, but it wouldn't appy to this blouse. The knit sweater blouse has a complete off-shoulder features, short extended sleeves with scalloped edges and a hemline that is just hip length. There are several metallic bands that run through the sweater, giving it depth and sparkle. The only problem with the pattern .... it is limited in size being misses 12, 14 and 16 only. The design is vintage 1949.

Materials:  Hiawatha Shrink-Resistant British 3-Ply Super Fingering Wool, Art. 30, 7 (8,8) skeins;   Hiawatha Elastic Metallic Yarn of Lastex, Art. 77, 2 cards, belt included;   No. 1 and No.3 knitting needles;   No. 1 steel crochet hook.   (GAUGE: 15 sts=2")
