Pansy Shaped Crochet Doily Mats Pattern Design 883

Crochet Doilies:   This crochet pattern gives directions to crochet the mats shown.   This pattern is titled 'Crocheted Doilies', however the design is clearly table mats with potential of a luncheon set.   The pansy motif mats can be made in three different sizes in large and small, depending upon materials selected ranging from a small of 8 x 8-1/2 to a large of 22 x 24.  

This is a Mail Order Design pattern, purchased through newspapers and catalogs.   This pattern was marketed as Laura Wheeler 883 in 1955.  It was also marketed under the Alice Brooks brand.
