Parrot in Filet Crochet Chair Doily No 1773

Filet Crocheted Chair Set:  This filet crocheted chair set, made of unbleached Mercerized Crochet. and Knitting Cotton, may also be used as a buffet set or the large piece may be used as ends for scarfs. The pattern includes a filet chart for the chair back and the arm rest.  When completed, the chair back will measure12-1/2 x 16 and the arm rests are 6 x 12-1/2 inches each. 

This is a Mail Order Design pattern purchased through newspaper advertisements and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed as Laura Wheeler 1773 in 1938.   It was later marketed under the Alice Brooks brand.
