Peacock Plumes Crochet Medallion Alice Brooks 6757

Crocheted Medallion:  These medallions can be made either of Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton or of No. 30 Mercerized Crochet Cotton. When joined together the medallions form bedspreads, cloths, scarfs, pillows and other household articles.   The large medallion can measure either 4 or 5-1/2 inches and the small medallion is 2 or 3 inches in diameter. 

This is a Mail Order Design pattern purchased through newspaper advertisements and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed as Alice Brooks 6757 in 1940.  This pattern was again marketed every other year until 1953.

MATERIAL REQUIREMENTS: Unbleached Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton in (500 yard) skeins and a No. 8 steel crochet hook or No. 30 Mercerized Crochet Cotton and a No. 10 steel crochet hook.
