Pearl Trimmed Hat and Bag Crochet Pattern

Pearl Encrusted Hat and Bag: This pattern contains instructions to crochet the accessory set shown. This is an easy crochet pattern that is worked in Crochet Cotton in colors of your choice. The hat is a close fitting cap with a rolled brim and a button adornment in the back. The bag a drawstring styled, also in a lacy pattern stitch, with knob tassels at the ends. The Pearl part of the description ... well, they are at the tip of the button on the hat, as well as mixed into the brim, and the knobs on the bag. The design is vintage 1960s from American Thread.

Materials:

• AMERICAN THREAD COMPANY The Famous "PURITAN" STAR SPANGLED CROCHET COTTON, Article 40. 9 balls Aqua Spangle or color of your choice for bag. 4 balls for hat. 12 balls will make entire set
• OR The Famous "PURITAN" CROCHET COTTON, Article 40. 6 balls Turquoise or color of your choice for bag. 3 balls for hat.
• 1/2 yd. lining material.
• 45 medium size pearl beads for hat.
• 32 medium size pearl beads for bag.
• Steel crochet hooks No. 4 and No. 7.
