Pillows to Knit and Crochet

Pillows : This pattern contains directions to make the pillows. This is for those of you with dual talent --- both knit and crochet ! There is square motif pillow, measuring 13 x 13 inches in crocheted in 3 1/2 inch square blocks and backed with muslin. The round pillow in white and two contrast colors in round is knitted both front and back. Make up a couple sets for your couch, and why not some for your friends as well.

Materials - Crochet Pillow :

• AMERICAN THREAD COMPANY The Famous "PURITAN" MERCERIZED CROCHET COTTON, Article 40, 4 balls Gray, 3 balls Flamingo or colors of your choice.
• Steel crochet hook No.7
• 1 yd. muslin
• Cotton, shredded foam rubber or any suitable material for filling.
• 3 yds. velvet cording.

Each motif measures 3 ½ inches x 3 ½ inches.

Materials - Knit Pillow:

• AMERICAN THREAD COMPANY The Famous "PURITAN" MERCERIZED CROCHET COTTON, Article 40, 5 balls White, 1 ball each Lt. Blue and National Blue or colors of your choice
• Steel crochet hooks No.1, No.7 and No.3
• Cotton, shredded foam rubber or any material suitable for filling.
