Pineapple Doilies Crochet Pattern, Mail Order 7240

Pineapple Doilies:   This pattern contains directions for three matching doilies in different sizes. Use either fine or heavy cotton for these pineapple-design doilies.  These may be crocheted in three sizes each of small, medium and large.  The small doilies are 7, 8 or 11 inches.  The medium doilies are 16, 17-1/2 or 24 inches.  The large doilies are 19, 21 or 30 inches in diameter. 

This is a Mail Order Design pattern purchased through newspapers and catalogs.  This pattern was marketed as Alice Brooks 7240.  The newspaper description:  "Dainty as a snowflake.Pretty under a vase, or your luncheon table. Use fine or heavy cotton for this pineapple beauty! It's quick crochet. Three matching doilies". The pattern was included in the Alice Brooks 1953 Designs Catalog.
