Pineapple Edging, Wild Rose Insert No 2132

Pineapple Edging and Irish Rose Insert:  This pattern gives directions to crochet the linen edging and insertion pictured.    Perfectly size to accommodate sheets and pillow cases.  An Irish Rose medallion graces the center, with pineapple borders reaching out from the sides.   Extend the pineapples to any length desired.   Note:  Colors and a layout picture in included with the pattern diagram, however, this is (of course) no embroidery transfer. 

This is a Mail Order pattern purchased through newspapers and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed as Anne Cabot 2132.  The newspaper description:  "Your favorite pineapple motifs and Irish rose medallion combine to create breath-taking bed linen designs. Crochet the pineapples in sparkling white and roses in variegated pink threads. Embroider the sprays in simple stitches".

Materials:  Mercerized Crochet Cotton No. 3o, White and Shaded Rose;  Steel Crochet Hook No. 10;   Six strand embroidery floss in the following colors: Rose, Blue, Yellow and Green.
