Pineapple Edgings Crochet Pattern, Mail Order 989

Crochet Pineapple Edgings:  This pattern contains directions for five pineapple edgings and a pineapple corner with a narrow edging. Edging A can be used on a straight or curved edge or it can be used on a square. Edgings B and C can be used either on straight or curved edges. Edging D is for use on curved edges only. Edging E can be used either as an edging or an insertion. Although the directions are given for fine cotton they can be made of Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton using a No. 10 steel crochet hook; when made of heavy cotton the edgings will be about twice as wide.
