Pineapple Pinwheel Crochet Doily, Mail Order 1227

Centerpiece Doily:   This pattern gives directions to crochet the doily pictured.  An effective 18—inch doily is crocheted. The rose is the center of the wheel with the pineapple design and flower edging.

This is a Mail Order pattern, purchased through newspapers and catalogs.  This pattern was marketed as 1227 by both the Needlework Bureau and Martha Madison.  

Materials: 450 yds. No. 20 mercerized thread and a No. 8 steel crochet hook.
