Pineapple Scarf, Mats Crochet Pattern, Laura Wheeler 816

Crocheted Scarfs and Mats:  This pattern contains directions for making jiffy crocheted scarfs and mats. They can be made of either a double strand or a single strand of Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton. The scarf can be made any desired length.   The long scarfs may be 11-1/2 or 16 inches by any length.  The small scarfs are 11-1/2 x 20 or 16 x 29 inches, and the mats are 10 x 11-1/2 or 14 x 16 inches.

This is a Mail Order Design pattern purchased through newspapers and catalogs.  This pattern was marketed as Laura Wheeler 816.  The newspaper description:  "Magic crochet design shows how to make large or small scarf, lunch mats, buffet set! Jiffy crocheted scarfs done in double, single strand string".  This pattern was included in the Laura Wheeler Designs 1951 Needlework Catalog.
