Pineapple Sunburst Centerpiece Crochet Doily Pattern Design 2757

2757 - Pineapple Sunburst Centerpiece. This pattern gives directions to crochet the doily pictured. Depending upon materials used, this large doily may be crocheted at 25 or 30 inches in diameter. The elegant designs features a sunburst of pineapples, row upon row, with lightly scalloped edges.

This is a Mail Order Pattern, purchased through newspapers and catalogs. The pattern was marketed as Anne Cabot 2757.     The pattern was included in the Anne Cabot 1969 Needlework Album.  

MATERIALS:   J. & P. COAT'S BIG BALL Best Six Cord Mercerized Crochet: 4 Balls (200 yds. each) of white, ecru or cream in Size 20 for a centerpiece that will measure approximately 25" in diameter; or Size 30 if a smaller and daintier doily is desired;   NEEDLE: If Size 20 Thread is used – #l0 Milward's Steel Crochet Hook in Standard Size should be used; or #12 with Size 30 thread.
