Pinecone Crochet Square Pattern, Bedspread

Crochet Pinecone Bedspread pattern:   This pattern gives directions to crochet the square pictured.  This attractive square, measuring 8 inches is crocheted in Knit-Cro-Sheen -  4 ply 100% Mercerized Crochet Cotton, Size 10.   The pattern is billed as a bedspread however, these squares would be equally attractive in other household accessories.  

Materials:  Milward's steel crochet hook No. 6 or 7;   J. & P. Coats Knit-Cro-Sheen (approx. 39 balls)  (75 yards per square.   This amount is sufficient for a double size spread in White or Ecru. Color requires about one-fourth more.
