Dashing Knitted Hat. A shapely little hat which will hug your har do, give a pretty face a lovely frame! A most unusual and smart effect is achieved by means of the "pleated" effect of the knitting and the circles of wool and gilt thread that hold the hat snugly over the ears. An elastic is knitted into the last row at the back so it's really head-hugging! Cocoa color with gold, navy with sllver, black with gold - any color you choose will be pretty

Description

Knitted Hat:  This pattern gives directions to crochet the hat pictured.   A vintage design that fits snugly the head with a small band of back elastic is an extra easy knit in fingering yarn.  It features circle trim that add interest over the ears.  

This is a Mail Order pattern purchased through newspaper advertisements.   It was marketed as Carol Curtis 565 in 1952.
