Pointed Ruffle Crochet Doily Pattern

Rippling Rhythm : This pattern contains instructions for crocheting the doily pictured. This vintage 1960 design from Lily Mills, is a most interesting doily. It is named 'Rippling Rhythm; which is quite a good choice. The piece flows in rounds in changing designs like water moving in a drift and branching out in tall rifts at the edge and leading to long branches out, in the form of the ruffled doily. This finished doily, measuring 16 inches (including the ruffle), will become as much a conversation piece as whatever object you may place atop.
