Popcorn Stitch Motif Bedspread Crochet Pattern

Snow White :  This pattern contains directions to crochet the spread pictured.  The forever popular popcorn stitch in an easy-to-make new motif design makes this spread of heirloom beauty.  That was the official description in 1949, and I believe it may still hold true for today; some 64 years later.   Each motif measures about 6 inches.  A total of 198 motifs, 11 x 18, are required for a spread measuring about 66 x 108 inches -- longer if you'd like to add the lush and long fringe.   Oh, add more motifs for a larger spread.  

Materials: 

• - AMERICAN THREAD COMPANY "DE LUXE" CROCHET AND KNITTING COTTON,ARTICLE 346 OR "PURITAN" BEDSPREAD COTTON, ARTICLE 40,74- 250yd. Balls ecru, White or Cream.
• - Steel Crochet Hook No.7.
