Prancing Horses in Filet Crochet Pattern, Alice Brooks 7353

Filet Crochet Chair Set Pattern:  This filet crochet chair set, made of No. 50 Mercerized Crochet Cotton, may also be used as a buffet set or the large piece may be used as ends for scarfs. The pattern includes a filet chart for the chair back and the arm rest, also instructions describing how the charts are to be used.   When finished, the chair back will measure 12-1/2 x 16 and the arm rests are 6-1/4 x 12-1/2 each. 

This is a Mail Order Design pattern purchased through newspapers and catalogs.  This pattern was marketed as Alice Brooks 7353.  It was included in the Alice Brooks 1949 Designs Catalog.  The pattern was also marketed under the Laura Wheeler and The American Weekly brand names.   I've written a blog post about 'Same pattern, different numbers', should you care to read.
