Pretty Cable Sweater Knitting Pattern

No 230 Cable Interest : This pattern contains directions for knitting the sweater shown. This is a lovely design that gives the cables an almost delicate look. The loose fitting pullover has a high neck, long sleeves and hip length. The cable like design runs down the middle, as well as the side edges that border the sleeves. The edges have narrow ribbing. This pattern, vintage 1960s, is misses size 12, with changes for 14 and 16 in parentheses.

Materials:

• SPINNERIN Mona (2 oz. balls) - 7(7-8) balls
• 1 pair each straight knitting needles No. 3 and No. 6
• 1 d p needle No. 6 for cabling

GAUGE: 6 sts = 1 inch8 rows = 1 inch
